Even Icelanders Don't Like Whaling

I wanted to share with you these shocking images of Iceland's renewed commercial whale hunt.
These are images of a fin whale, which are second only to blue whales in terms of size. Iceland whalers have killed seven fin whales to date under their renewed commercial whale hunt -- and these whales are considered endangered! Iceland whalers have also killed the first minke whale, which is smaller than the fin whale, and is considered to be lively and curious. In fact, minke whales often come up to whale watching boats out of curiosity -- and they don't know the difference between whale watching boats and whale hunting boats so they're probably easier to kill...
