I had a opportunity to touch and look in the eyes of a elephant at the Carolina State Fair.
He kept taking the snacks out of the plastic bag I was holding using his trunk. It was a very playfull moment in my life, at the same time trying not to fear this magnificant animal standing toe to toe with me! I hope and pray the right people get a handle on the elephant killings and stop it.....sd

I feel like every corner I turn, there are people killing animals for ivory, skin/fur, livers, meats and so on. I just make me feel very uncomfortable to know that those animals die brutually and painfully. God creates those animals and we are here to protect them but it is not happening. Animals do not have the peace of mind to live free roaming anymore.
It is a very sad picture. I am strongly urging goverments to protect these elephants and stop the ivory trade. If the ivory does not have any vaule in the market, then there will not be anymore poachers. Where are their conscious after killing those magnificent animals brutually? How can they sleep at night? These poachers have both hands and feets just like us and they should get a "normal job" just like us without harming any animals. Preying on animals to make a living is a totally sick behaviour.
