The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) Disaster Response team was activated by partner Code 3 Associates to support the Houston Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).

“We are deeply saddened by the devastation caused by hurricane Harvey and will do our very best to serve the communities impacted by this storm. We deployed water rescue teams and have emergency sheltering and wildlife rescue teams on standby to respond as soon as needed,” says Shannon Walajtys, IFAW Disaster Response Manager.
