The commercial seal hunt is dying and country after country has said they do not want Canada’s dead seals, yet politicians continue to waste tax dollars to support it. One politician in Canada, Senator Mac Harb is bravely taking action to try and end Canada’s commercial seal hunt. On May 2 he is introducing a bill to end the commercial seal hunt, and to help sealers out of the industry. We want this bill to pass, but it might not even be debated. We need a debate on the commercial seal hunt in Canada, and we need you to ask for it.

Newfoundland MP, Ryan Cleary, recently suggested that the end may be near for the commercial sealing industry in Canada. Even though he supports the seal hunt, he was simply pointing out the truth: that the world appetite for seal products does not exist.
Please take action today to end the seal hunt by writing to Mr. Cleary to thank him for asking the question so many politicians have been avoiding.
