Во время повторного наводнения, обрушившегося в конце прошедшей недели на Национальный парк Казаринга , члены группы IFAW-WTI (Международного фонда защиты животных и Фонда охраны дикой природы) из Центра реабилитации и сохранения диких животных (CWRC) доставили в Центр еще четырех детенышей носорога, возраст которых составляет от недели до шести месяцев.

Two cheetah cubs in Somaliland have been recently rescued from the illegal wildlife trade. Both cubs were voluntarily surrendered to Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF)’s local associates after extensive negotiations.

The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) and CCF have partnered together in the rescue of these cubs. The partnership is a part of our ongoing efforts to protect cheetahs and combat illegal wildlife trade around the world.

Iceland’s lone whaling crusader, Kristjan Loftsson, is attempting to ship hundreds of tonnes of fin whale meat out of the country, bound for Japan.

Despite limited market for the meat and opposition at home and abroad to the bloody trade in the endangered whale species, the shipment, which is at least two years old, has been loaded onto a cargo vessel.

Конфискованные сокола исчезающих видов успешно прошли реабилитацию и были выпущены в природные места обитания

Пятнадцать редких соколов - балобаны и кречеты, были спасены и реабилитированы совместными усилиями Международного фонда защиты животных (IFAW) и АНО «Центр спасения диких животных».  Девять балобанов были выпущены в природу на территории Кислухинского заказника в Алтайском крае 3 августа 2017 г., а 16 августа 2017 г. в природные места обитания в Ямало-Ненецком автономном округе были выпущены шесть кречетов.
